About Us: Meet Liz Shaw
I grew up learning to care and love our many cats and dogs. My love and appreciation of cats led me into cat grooming and cat sitting. In 1999 I completed JKL Homestudy Cat Grooming with a Highest Honours Diploma and have been a member of the National Cat Groomers Institute of America since 2008.
I have now been grooming cats for over 10 years. It can take a lot of patience and understanding to work with a cat. I love grooming cats and making them look beautiful.
I started Cat Sitting because I love spending time watching cats. I personally do all the cat sits (see testimonals). I love meeting each and every cat. I would love to meet your cat!
Today, I have 2 beautiful adult cats that grace my home. My routine is to get up in the early morning and roll out my yoga mat. The cats love this time! They are an inspiration and I watch them go into a lengthening cat stretch, then an effortless twist, and finally a peaceful relaxation. Cats are naturals at Yoga!
I became a Registered Bach Flower Practitioner in July, 2000. Cats can benefit from the Bach Flower Remedies. There is Rescue Remedy for stress and other Remedies that can help cats maintain their emotional well being while you are away.
I took my First Degree Reiki in 1986 and became a Reiki Master in 1998. Reiki is very calming and comforting. Cats love the calm quiet energy of Reiki.
