"We call Liz to look after our cats when we're away because we know we'll come back to
find them contented. Liz always does that little extra for Lucy and Pickles, like bringing
toys, taking photos or giving them a good brushing. We've learned to trust Liz to take good
care of our cats and our home when we're away."

"I am happy to give a reference for cat care for Liz Shaw. Liz is both very caring and highly competent.
Liz has taken care of my three cats many times over the past few years. She does whatever is necessary, and in my case, she had many challenging situations. She has done post-surgery care on several occasions, as I travel a lot and each of my cats has had more than one surgery. She treats them as her own, and calls to make sure they have recovered.
Her care at my home includes the following:
She also did minor household chores like take in the newspaper and mail while I was away.
I am grateful for the care Liz gives my precious pets and for the resulting peace of mind it brings me."
Best regards,

"I'm very happy that Liz is our cat sitter. Our cats took to Liz immediately and I'm confident she looks after them extremely well. She is very flexible and puts in extra visits if our cats need more attention. She makes sure they are well and happy, plays with them, pets them and even adjusts the balance of their wet/dry food them if they're not toileting consistently.
Liz is also very thoughtful. For example, she gave Daisy Christmas gifts when she cat-sat over the holidays. She also took photos of Daisy opening her Christmas presents and emailed them to us abroad.
I'm very happy to recomend Liz as a cat-sitter. She is reliable, flexible and I'm always confident our cats get excellent care when we are away."

"Hi Liz,
I cannot say enough how fortunate I was to find you!
Not even my sister nor friends would take on the job of babysitting my old feral cats with problems (with one in need of insulin injections twice daily). The cost of boarding them would be impossible besides feral cats do not adjust to change without suffering traumatic stress.
The hope of ever visiting my kids in California was out of the question until I met Liz. She was giving a talk one evening at the local pet shop on one of her many cat therapies. I was convinced of her love and devotion and fascination for animals, not just a particular breed!
Later, when I heard she did home visits, I called in desperation wondering what she would do with my crazy zoo. No problem at all, Liz was over with her clipboard to meet them all and interested in all the details of their care and feeding and grooming and health history. She took copious notes. I went off for two weeks and came home to happy cats and an amusing keepsake diary of her daily cat encounters.
Liz has a very special way with cats, making them feel comfortable and takes away their stress. My cats are rescue, feral and batty as they come; Liz has them all with her dining together in the kitchen — that is somewhat of a miracle! Liz is far beyond a cat sitter, more of a professional therapist."
Gratefully,

"We first engaged Liz Shaw for her cat sitting services in 1998. At that time we sought someone we could depend upon for an on-going relationship. Abner, our cat at that time, took to Liz very quickly and welcomed her visits while we were away. We trusted Liz's ability to take care of Abner, sometimes up to a week at a time.
More recently, Liz has helped us with her expertise in the Bach Flower Remedies. We adopted Smokey (an 11 year-old) a few months after Abner passed away. Smokey's owner had passed away and he had been living in a vet's clinic for six months. Liz prepared a Remedy that helped calm Smokey's anxiety. His behavior improved remarkably.
We highly recommend Liz to all cat lovers as a knowledgeable, caring and trustworthy person.
